Cedar Scout is an independent guide that helps people choose a home sauna. If you make or sell saunas, here's how your products can appear, how to send us information, and what can't be bought.

What can't be bought

No one can pay for a better rating, a higher position or a mention in our picks. Every sauna is rated by the same published method, from published specs, and the code that ranks saunas can't read commission data. See our affiliate disclosure.

Getting your saunas listed

Our readers use guides like which sauna should I buy and sauna brands compared to narrow their choice. We list saunas whether or not their seller runs an affiliate program, and each purchase link says whether it's an affiliate link. To be considered, a sauna needs a public product page that states its price, exterior size, seating, heating type, electrical requirements and warranty. We read every figure from that page and link to it as the source.

Sending product information or corrections

If a spec, price or warranty we show doesn't match your own published page, tell us and we'll check it and fix it under our corrections policy. Please include:

• The sauna's name and model number, and a link to its page on our site.
• A link to your public page showing the correct figure. We only use figures we can link to.
• For new information, such as interior size, heater model or clearances, a public spec sheet or manual.

We don't use private claims, test reports we can't publish a link to, or customer reviews in any rating.

Affiliate partnerships

Cedar Scout earns money when readers buy through affiliate links. If you run an affiliate program, we're glad to hear about it. Joining a program changes how a purchase link is labeled; it doesn't change a rating, a rank or whether a sauna appears in our results.

Photos

Sauna pages show a labeled line drawing until a maker or seller gives written permission to use product photos. If you'd like your photos used, tell us which images and confirm in writing that we may publish them.

Use our contact form and choose "A partnership" or "A correction". We reply to the email you give.
