It's a wooden room heated by a stove with stones. You can pour water on the stones to raise the humidity. All the traditional saunas we list use an electric stove.
Every traditional and hybrid sauna we list does. Their stoves are rated at 1.9 kW, 10.5 kW, 10.6 kW, 3.5 kW, 4.5 kW, 6 kW, 7.5 kW, 8 kW, 9 kW and are hardwired by an electrician.
The traditional saunas we list publish maximum temperatures from 170 to 239°F. Most people choose a lower setting than the maximum.
A sauna with both a stove and infrared panels. We list 5, and the maker says the two can't run at the same time in at least one of them. Check the manual.
