Sauna accessories
A short list of things sauna owners actually use, from three brands. None of it is needed to enjoy a sauna. A towel and a glass of water cover the basics.
How this page works: accessories aren't scored or ranked, and no brand paid to be here. Links may be affiliate links, so Cedar Scout may earn a commission if you buy. We don't show prices here because they change often; the brand's page has the current price. Checked 2 Nov 2026.
In the heat
Small things that make a long session more comfortable.
Embrace the Heat
The Sauna Hat
A felted cap worn in the sauna. Finns wear them to keep the head from getting too hot on the top bench.
Embrace the Heat
The Wrap bottle sleeve
A sleeve for your water bottle, so it's easier to hold when the bottle heats up in the room.
Embrace the Heat
The Sauna Bag
A thermal bag for carrying a towel, hat and bottle to an outdoor sauna or a gym.
Away from your sauna
For travel, or the months before your sauna arrives.

Infrared Sauna Blanket
A heated blanket you lie in at home. It's a different experience from a cabin sauna, but it packs away and plugs into a normal outlet.

DailyDOSE glass water bottle
A glass bottle with time markings, a simple way to keep track of how much you drink around a session.
After a session
Many people stretch or roll out sore muscles while they cool down.
A sauna blanket or massage gun isn't a substitute for medical advice. If you have a heart condition, are pregnant, or take medication that affects heat tolerance, ask your doctor before using heat therapy.
