Terms of use

By using Cedar Scout you agree to these terms. They're written to be read.

Information, not advice

Cedar Scout shares information to help you research home saunas. It isn't professional, electrical, construction or medical advice. Fit Check, the cost calculator and our electrical notes are preliminary screening aids. Confirm clearances, wiring and installation with the manufacturer, a licensed electrician or your installer before you buy.

Prices and specs change

We read prices and specs from seller pages and date them, but sellers change them without notice. The seller's page at the time you buy is the final word. Estimates on this site are not quotes or guarantees.

Affiliate links and other sites

Many links are affiliate links, and each is labeled. We don't sell saunas, handle orders or provide warranties. Your purchase, delivery and any warranty claim are between you, the seller and the maker, under their terms. See the affiliate disclosure.

Our content

The text, scores, tools and design on Cedar Scout are ours. You're welcome to share links and quote short passages with credit. Product names and trademarks belong to their owners and are used only to identify products.

No warranty

We work to keep the site accurate, but it's provided as is, without warranties of any kind. To the extent the law allows, Cedar Scout isn't liable for losses from using the site or relying on its information.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms and will change the date above when we do. Questions go through our contact page. Also see our privacy policy.

Independent by design. We order saunas with our published method. Cedar Scout may earn a commission when you buy through affiliate links on this page. Commissions never change which saunas appear, their scores or their order. How we earn money.
