Affiliate disclosure
Cedar Scout may earn a commission when you buy through affiliate links. Today all of the 149 saunas we list link to SaunaKits.com or Topture, retailers whose affiliate programs we've joined. Every purchase link is labeled, and commissions never change our scores or rankings.
What a commission changes
Nothing about which saunas we show or how they rank. The code that scores and ranks saunas can't read commission data, and an automated test confirms before every update that changing, adding or removing a commission moves no result. See our methodology.
What it pays for
Commissions keep the site free to use, with no ads and no sign-up wall in front of the recommendations.
How purchase links are labeled
- Affiliate link. Affiliate link: Cedar Scout may earn a commission if you buy through it. Commissions never change our scores or rankings.
- No affiliate link. No affiliate link: Cedar Scout earns nothing if you buy. It's scored by the same rules as every other sauna. Today no sauna we list is in this group.
Affiliate links are also marked as sponsored in the page code, and every sauna page states which kind its link is, next to the button.

Commission rates are what each retailer's program publishes. We don't know what a commission will be on any single sale, and a rate never changes a score or a position.
This disclosure follows the U.S. Federal Trade Commission's guidance that affiliate relationships be stated clearly and close to the links they affect.
Independent by design. We order saunas with our published method. Cedar Scout may earn a commission when you buy through affiliate links on this page. Commissions never change which saunas appear, their scores or their order. How we earn money.
